NASA's Starling CubeSats enter low Earth orbit to test various technologies
It has been verified that the four Starling CubeSats from NASA successfully launched from Rocket Lab's Electron kick stage.
The swarm of interconnected spacecraft, or "swarm," has entered low Earth orbit and is ready to start its mission to test autonomous positioning, networking, manoeuvring, and decision-making systems.
The Starling swarm will now start up and try to make initial contact with the ground; this procedure could take place over the course of the following several days or over the course of an entire night.
