Indonesia and UAE collaborating to build a mangrove research center in Bali:

Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are working together to construct a new building where scientists can study mangrove trees. Mangroves are special plants that grow in coastal sea water. They are important for protecting land from storms and sea level rise. The countries will build the mangrove research center on the island of Bali in Indonesia.

The research center is part of a partnership between Indonesia and the UAE to find natural solutions to climate change. Both countries signed an agreement called the Mangrove Alliance at a United Nations meeting about global warming. The new building will be located in a large area of Bali that protects mangroves. Scientists there will study mangroves and how to take care of them better.

Officials from Indonesia and the UAE had a ceremony to start building the mangrove research center. They said it is important because mangrove forests around the world are disappearing. Without mangroves, climate change issues like rising sea levels will be worse. The researchers at the new center will try to find ways to save mangrove trees using technology like artificial intelligence.

The mangrove research center in Bali will focus on studying mangroves, protecting them, and educating people about them. Indonesia hopes the center brings international attention to its successful mangrove conservation work. The scientists will help Indonesia and other countries maintain healthy mangrove forests that benefit communities and the environment.
