UAE ranks as second most hardworking country, residents enjoy ‘out of home’ entertainment:

The UAE has been ranked as the second most hardworking country in the world according to a new report. The report from Ipsos found that 82% of residents in the UAE feel they work hard, second only to India. The ranking highlights the strong work ethic that exists within the Emirati culture and among expat workers in the country.

Despite its hardworking nature, the UAE also enjoys a great work-life balance according to residents. The report showed that 86% of people in the UAE said they have enough time for activities outside of work, higher than the global average of 79%. This indicates that while UAE residents put in effort at their jobs, they are also able to maintain a healthy separation between their professional and personal lives.

Out-of-home entertainment activities are especially popular according to the report. 95% of respondents said they occasionally or frequently participate in entertainment outside the home such as dining out, live music/performances, movies, sporting events and other cultural activities. This reflects the variety of recreational options available across the UAE from Dubai to Abu Dhabi.

The high rankings for both working hard and enjoying entertainment paint a picture of a country that strives for success professionally yet also makes time for leisure. This balance has helped the UAE become an appealing place to live and work for both citizens and expats alike. The report provides insights into why the work culture of the UAE remains highly productive.
