UAE continues support for Gaza with food aid and field hospital

 




The United Arab Emirates recently sent another aid shipment to the Gaza Strip This shipment carried over 1000 tons of important food to help people there. The food was loaded on a ship in Cyprus and sent to Gaza. 


The UAE also continues operating its field hospital in Gaza. This hospital provides medical care to Gazans during the crisis  Doctors and nurses work hard to treat injured women, children and people with long term illnesses. 


One example is Dr Saif Al Mehrzi  who is a doctor of bone and joint surgery He helps patients who need operations on their bones or joints The medical team at the field hospital is dedicated to taking care of Gaza residents’ health needs.  


By sending food aid and keeping the field hospital open, the UAE shows its ongoing support for the Palestinian people in Gaza  This assistance from the UAE helps Gazans during a difficult time.

  Sultan Al Neyadi, in particular, has made history for every Emirati and Arab by spending six months aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Chad receives Nimr armoured vehicles from UAE

  To assist the Republic of Chad in boosting border security and combating terrorism, the UAE has delivered a convoy of military vehicles and security gear to the country. This initiative fits into the framework of the close ties that exist between the UAE and Chad on many levels, which have led to the signing of a number of bilateral agreements, including a military cooperation agreement in June during Mahamat Idriss Deby's official visit to Abu Dhabi. Deby is the chairman of the Chad's Transitional Military Council. The automobiles are Nimr armoured cars built in the Emirate. The UAE has been expanding its relations with African countries while simultaneously growing its own defence industry. In the presence of the Chief of the General Staff of the Chadian Army, the Chief of the Strategic Reserve Forces of the Chadian Army, and other senior Chadian military officials, Rashid Saeed Al Shamsi, the UAE Ambassador to Chad, delivered the shipment of supplies to Lieutenant General
