Aviation security assessment at Karachi airport by UAE team

 


A team from the General Civil Aviation Authority GCAA of United Arab Emirates arrived in Karachi Pakistan to conduct a security assessment at Jinnah International Airport The team led by Abdullah Al Kaabi Senior Director of Aviation Security from GCAA was welcomed at the airport by officials from Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. 


The UAE team will inspect various security measures at the airport for four days with a focus on flights to UAE This assessment is being conducted by Aviation Security Directorate of PCAA of Pakistan. Such assessments aim to enhance aviation security standards at the airport. During their visit the team will check implementation of security protocols related to flights to UAE. 


In the past a similar assessment was also carried out at Islamabad International Airport by the UAE aviation authority The opening meeting in Islamabad was attended by senior officials from Pakistani aviation authority The ongoing assessments highlight continued cooperation between aviation authorities of both countries to strengthen security of air travel. 


Enhancing security is important to ensure safety of passengers and aircraft Through such collaborative efforts, Pakistan and UAE want to address any gaps and improve procedures according to international standards After completing the inspection UAE team will share its findings and any recommendations for improvements with Pakistani aviation officials.


Cooperation in aviation security is vital for both countries UAE reiterated its commitment to help Pakistan enhance its aviation security system through training and capacity building. Pakistan also aims to learn best practices from UAE aviation authorities to further bolster security at its airports for safe air travel.
