Popular Summer Destinations for UAE Residents

 



The summer months see many residents of the UAE traveling overseas to escape the heat Recent data from the border security authority revealed the most booked destinations according to passport stamping. 


Turkey emerged as a clear favorite with the scenic beaches and historic sites attracting over 330000 Emiratis and residents holding visit visas The resort town of Antalya on the Turkish Riviera was one of the top specific locations. 


Coming in second was the UK which saw almost 250000 visitors from the UAE. The popularity of British destinations like London can be attributed to their robust tourism industries as well as cultural and education ties between the two countries. 


In third place was India with nearly 200000 travelers making it one of the most visited Asian nations India allure comes from aspects like family links religious tourism to places such as Aurangabad and Ajmer Sharif as well as adventure spots like the Kerala backwaters.


Dubai neighbors Oman and Saudi Arabia ranked fourth and fifth respectively with each welcoming around 100000 visitors each Proximity and ease of travel coupled with attractions from coastal resorts to cultural heritage sites fuel their appeal.


Outside of the Middle East region  other summer spots that saw significant numbers of UAE based travelers included Iran Germany and Thailand The data highlights the diverse range of destinations that residents prefer during the hot months based on differing interests and ties.

  Recently Premier Li Qiang of China visited the United Arab Emirates UAE to discuss ways to deepen trade ties between the two countries. During his meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Li emphasized the importance of cooperation in key sectors such as new energy, electric vehicles and the digital economy This visit is part of Li's broader Middle East tour and highlights the growing relationship between China and the UAE.
