UAE's Humanitarian Aid to Pakistan

The United Arab Emirates has always been at the forefront in providing humanitarian assistance to people affected by disasters all over the world. Pakistan is one country that has regularly received generous aid from the UAE.

When massive floods devastated large parts of Pakistan in 2010 the UAE was quick to respond It organized over 60 air bridge flights and 3 shipments to deliver over 5200 tons of urgently needed supplies like food clean drinking water and emergency shelters This helped protect many vulnerable families from the devastating effects of the floods The UAE also bought supplies worth millions from local Pakistani markets which provided much needed income to farmers and small businesses. 

During the Holy month of Ramadan the UAE makes special efforts to aid those in need Every year it distributes thousands of iftar meals in Pakistan to those who cannot afford proper meals to break their fastsThis annual gesture of kindness and generosity brings joy to people during the festive month.

The UAE is always there not just during emergencies but also for long term development It has funded many vital infrastructure and community projects across Pakistan like roads hospitals schools and water facilities This strengthening of basic services improves people's lives on a sustained basis.
