Dubai Schools Instructed to Provide Online Learning Due to Unstable Weather

 


In response to the expected unstable weather, Dubai schools were instructed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) to offer online learning on Monday, February 12, 2024. The directive aimed to ensure the safety of students, families, and staff, allowing them to avoid potentially hazardous road conditions caused by the forecasted storm. The KHDA urged schools to be adaptable and flexible in considering the needs of parents, staff, and students, emphasizing the importance of staying safe during the inclement weather.

Chad receives Nimr armoured vehicles from UAE

  To assist the Republic of Chad in boosting border security and combating terrorism, the UAE has delivered a convoy of military vehicles and security gear to the country. This initiative fits into the framework of the close ties that exist between the UAE and Chad on many levels, which have led to the signing of a number of bilateral agreements, including a military cooperation agreement in June during Mahamat Idriss Deby's official visit to Abu Dhabi.
