UAE and Uzbekistan ink new agreements to boost cooperation



Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Crown Prince of Dubai witnessed the signing of several agreements between UAE and Uzbekistan during a recent visit to Tashkent This underscores the commitment to strengthen ties across diverse sectors. 


Key memorandums were signed to enhance collaboration in trade, investment tourism agriculture renewable energy and transportation Major UAE companies will help build ports develop solar projects and support Uzbek enterprises  This aims to accelerate economic growth through partnership between the private sectors.


In agriculture cooperation deals focus on cultivating crops exchanging best practices and facilitating exports Uzbekistan has huge potential in fruits vegetables and textiles that UAE businesses can assist with. Collaboration on tourism aims to boost cultural exchange and promote archaeological sites on the Silk Road.


Renewable energy is identified as a priority sector Uzbekistan seeks to transition away from fossil fuels and reduce emissions through innovative clean technologies Masdar will explore opportunities for wind and solar ventures in this regard. 


Representatives also discussed establishing a direct air corridor to spur trade and mobility of professionals students and visitors between the nations Overall the agreements signal both countries desire to forge stronger economic and investment cooperation.


The Crown Prince expressed confidence that bilateral ties will flourish through collaborative frameworks like this Regional stability and shared prosperity are objectives that UAE and Uzbekistan are committed to realize together.
