Mohammed bin Rashid highlights closing of Arab Reading Challenge with record-breaking participation

 


The Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, Mohammed bin Rashid, has celebrated the conclusion of the 8th cycle of the Arab Reading Challenge on Instagram. He remarked that the largest reading project worldwide welcomed over 28 million students from 50 countries for this edition. 


The Arab Reading Challenge aims to spread the joy of reading throughout Arab societies and motivate youth to explore literature to cultivate knowledge and develop comprehensive thinking. Under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed, it has undoubtedly become one of the most successful regional educational initiatives in recent years.


Sheikh Mohammed expressed pride in the ever-growing response to this annual competition organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. It is heartening to see millions of young readers from across the Arab world and beyond engaged in the enriching activity. 


The closing remarks suggest another highly participatory and enriching cycle for the Challenge in achieving its noble mission. Sheikh Mohammed's continuous support has enhanced literacy rates while fostering greater cultural ties between communities through shared experiences of reading.
