Emirates Red Crescent's Iftar Program Brings Relief to Pakistan's Rural Communities
During the holy month of Ramadan, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has been actively distributing thousands of iftar meals to underprivileged communities in Pakistan. This initiative has primarily focused on the rural areas of Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan provinces, aiming to provide daily sustenance to those observing the fast.
In the Sindh province, the ERC has distributed over 4,000 iftar meals, reaching out to impoverished families and individuals. Similarly, in Balochistan, more than 5,500 meals have been provided, ensuring that many can break their fast with proper nourishment.
Beyond meal distribution, the ERC has extended its support by providing 2,000 food parcels to needy families in remote areas of these provinces. This effort ensures that even those in the most isolated regions receive essential food supplies during Ramadan.
The ERC's commitment to humanitarian aid is evident through its continuous efforts during Ramadan. Their programs, such as "Ramadan Iftar" and "Ramadan Mir," are set to continue until the end of the holy month, reflecting the UAE's dedication to supporting communities in need.
Local communities have expressed deep appreciation for the ERC's initiatives. Many beneficiaries have acknowledged the positive impact of these programs, highlighting how they bring joy and relief during challenging times.
Through these compassionate actions, the Emirates Red Crescent exemplifies the spirit of Ramadan, fostering solidarity and support among communities. Their ongoing efforts continue to make a significant difference in the lives of many across Pakistan.
