Turkey recently hosted an important summit with Iraq Qatar and the UAE to discuss the Development Road Project. This $20 billion initiative launched by Iraq aims to connect the important port of Basra to Turkey and Europe via roads and rail networks. The project would boost Iraq's economy by establishing an efficient transport corridor for trade.
